Diligent has over 25,000 customers, operations in more than 130 countries worldwide and employs 2,000 people worldwide.
Centralising global functions in Ireland
Diligent its global operations by establishing its European Headquarters and associated corporate shared services functions in Galway in November 2020. As Diligent’s most cross-functional office, the Galway team includes customer support, customer success, finance, legal, operations, marketing and product leadership. Between 2020 - 2022, Diligent hired 275 people in the region during the height of the pandemic and continues to go from strength to strength.Diligent chose Ireland for its European HQ for several reasons including the highly educated talent available in Galway, the city’s rich tech eco-system and the quality of life that the west of Ireland offers people. In 2021, Diligent acquired Accuvio, a Limerick-based software company specialising in sustainability and environmental and social governance reporting.
In July 2022, Diligent opened its state-of-the-art 35,000 square foot office in Bonham Quay in the centre of Galway city. – a showcase site across the company’s office network in Europe that includes London, Munich and Budapest.
Since establishing its European hub, Diligent has integrated itself into the local community through partnerships with key stakeholders including Galway Chamber, Western Development Commission and University of Galway.
