Dublin, Galway, Letterkenny, Limerick, 30th June 2022: An Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Leo Varadkar TD and IDA Ireland today announced the creation of 241 jobs in Dublin, Galway, Letterkenny and Limerick across 8 high growth companies from Europe and the US.

The investments are supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland.

Making today’s announcement An Tánaiste Leo Varadkar TD said “This is brilliant news. 241 jobs spread across eight companies in Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Letterkenny and in a range of sectors. It’s a testament to our highly-qualified and talented workforce. I’m really impressed with the high growth potential of these companies and wish them every success as they continue to grow their business here in Ireland.”

Commenting on the announcement, Martin Shanahan CEO, IDA Ireland said “I am delighted to welcome these new companies to Ireland. I particularly welcome the locational spread of these investments which shows that the technology offering, availability of talent and attractive work life balance in the regions resonates with overseas investors.”

The new jobs will be spread across the technology and business service sectors with a range of activities such as Sales and Marketing, Software Development, engineering, customer success and Tech Support.

Workato (50 jobs) the leading enterprise automation platform, plans to ramp up hiring at its Dublin office in Ireland after a year of record momentum, which included launching its first European data centre in Germany in May 2021, raising over $420 million in total funding to date with a $5.7 billion valuation last November, and recently being named to the 2022 CNBC Disruptor 50 List.  The Irish base opened last September and has hired 10 people since opening the Dublin office at the WeWork building.  The new office will result in the creation of 50 jobs over the next 3+ years approximately, with predominantly sales, marketing and engineering staff.

bluecrux (50 jobs) a leading provider of process and technology solutions in planning, operations, and transformation, announces it is to create about 50 jobs in Ireland by 2025. This further consolidates bluecrux’ global expansion plans.  In May 2021, bluecrux opened their first office in Ireland (Galway), followed by a second one in Dublin in March 2022. Given the global nature of their clients and their programs and deep domain expertise in leading companies in the US, Europe and Asia, this global expansion aligns with the focus to service and support client program delivery across Ireland and the UK region.

GeistM (40 jobs) the New York based marketing technology (MarTech) company, which provides performance marketing services to global clients, today announced that it has established its EU HQ in Dublin which will be responsible for managing all clients originating outside of the USA.  The company plans to grow to 40 employees by 2024 across creative, client management, engineering, business development, and marketing services activities. 

Travizory Border Security SA (30) a Swiss technology company facilitating seamless, secure digital border-crossing experiences for governments and travellers, has opened a development centre in Letterkenny, Co Donegal. Travizory plan to add 30 staff in Ireland by 2024 to support their rapidly growing business.  Travizory was founded by senior executives from across the air transport industry. With specialists in AI and machine learning, biometrics, mobile, border security and border management - Travizory’s team leverages decades of experience in border security to tackle ever-evolving border threats using cutting-edge technology.

Evolv AI (25 jobs) an Experience Optimization solutions provider that helps brands deliver optimised and personalised customer experiences in real time, today announced it is making Ireland the focal point for its European team and plans to grow to 25 employees in the next two years. The company already has key team members in Dublin and Limerick and sees Ireland as an optimal market to hire and retain top talent.  Evolv AI is hiring for positions in Sales, Marketing, Expert Services, Client Success Management, and Engineering, Research and Development. The company has been rapidly growing its clients in EMEA with Ireland offering a great environment to continue to serve them. The company opened its official European headquarters in Dublin last year with its global headquarters in San Francisco, California.

Hader Solutions (18 jobs) a Swiss company in the manufacturing of medical devices, has recently opened their first distribution centre in Dublin, aiming to hire 18 people during the next 3 years.  Hader has contributed to numerous medical, dental, and orthopaedic solutions that are currently used all around the world. The office in Dublin will be focused on the distribution of their products to Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Refapp (15 jobs) a cloud-based reference checking solution company, has announced the establishment of an EMEA sales hub in Dublin. The company will create up to 15 roles over three years across inside sales, business development and marketing. Founded in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2016, Refapp is a web-based solution that gives the user full control of the reference process in recruiting.

Censys, (13 jobs) the leading provider of continuous attack surface management, launched operations in Ireland which will become the new headquarters for its international expansion.  The new location will act as the cornerstone of Censys’ European entity as it continues to grow internationally. Censys will double its size in Ireland every six months and will hire an additional 13 employees by 2024.

$5.7bn-valued Workato to hire 50 at its Dublin Office

Hader Solutions establishes distribution centre in Dublin

- Hader Solutions, a Swiss company with almost 60 years of experience in the manufacturing of medical devices, has recently opened their first distribution centre in Dublin, aiming to hire 18 people during the next 3 years.

Hader was founded in 1963 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, and has contributed to numerous medical, dental, and orthopaedic solutions that are currently used all around the world. The office in Dublin will be focused on the distribution of their products to Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Refapp announces new EMEA sales hub for Dublin

 - Refapp, a cloud-based reference checking solution company, has announced the establishment of an EMEA sales hub in Dublin. The company will create up to 15 roles over three years across inside sales, business development and marketing.
Founded in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2016, Refapp is a web-based solution that gives the user full control of the reference process in recruiting. It automates the reference checking process through a digital solution that supports accuracy and security to enable a better experience for recruiters, candidates, and referees.
The cloud-based software has been used by over 8,500 users.

 Every year, more than 400,000 reference checks are made through Refapp. Since establishing, the company has grown to employ 40 people in Sweden, Norway, Finland and now Ireland.

Ireland will be the primary Sales Hub for EMEA and the company is expecting to conduct direct selling, as well as marketing activities, in each region to grow market share. Dublin was chosen due to the country’s wealth of talent and its proximity of European customers. The Irish site will be led by Daniel Johnsson, EMEA regional lead and the company recently moved into new office space at Fitzwilliam Street Upper in Dublin City Centre.

Censys Launches European Headquarters in Ireland

The new headquarters follows the company’s recent expansion into the European customer and partner networks
